A WhatsApp link that starts the chat for them.

Type your number and pick a first message. You get a link that opens a chat with you, ready to send, which you can put in a bio, a status, a Google profile or an email. It is made in your browser, so nothing you type reaches a server.

What you getA click-to-chat WhatsApp link with a first message already typed.

Your number and message stay on this page. We never see them.

First message

A WhatsApp click-to-chat link is wa.me, then the number with its country code and no plus sign or spaces, then an optional ?text= and the message. Anyone who taps it opens a chat with you, with the message ready to send.

  • Where to use it

Your Instagram bio, Google Business Profile, email signature, website button and status. Put it where a person is already ready to talk.

  • Test it

Open the link on your own phone before you share it, and send the message to yourself to see what a customer sees.

  • Use a number you answer

The link opens a chat with whoever has that number. Use the one you check during the day, and keep the same number on your Google profile and website.

  • Keep the first message short

A line that names what they want, such as a price or a visit, gets a faster and clearer reply than a blank chat. People can still edit it before they send.

  • Say what the link does

Put a few words before it, such as Chat with us on WhatsApp. A bare link in a bio does not tell anyone what will happen when they tap it.

  • Test it on your phone

Open the link yourself and send the message to a friend or a second number. Check the number and the words before you share it widely.

How do I make a WhatsApp link?

Type your mobile number with the country code and an optional first message. The tool gives you a link that starts with https://wa.me/. Anyone who taps it opens a chat with you.

How do I put a WhatsApp link in my Instagram bio?

Copy the link from this page, open your Instagram profile, choose Edit profile, and paste it into the Links field. Many people add a short line of text before it so visitors know what it does.

Is a wa.me link free?

Yes. A wa.me link is a standard WhatsApp feature. It is free to make and use, and the tool works on your device without sending your number anywhere.

Can I add a ready message to a WhatsApp link?

Yes. The text after ?text= is the first message. The person can edit it before sending. Keep it short and clear, such as asking for a price or booking a visit.

How do I write the number in a WhatsApp link?

Use the country code first, then the number, with digits only: no plus sign, spaces or dashes. For India, 91 followed by the 10 digit mobile number. This tool adds 91 if you type 10 digits.

Does a WhatsApp link work on a computer?

Yes. On a computer it opens WhatsApp Web or the desktop app. If WhatsApp is not installed on a phone, the link opens a page that asks the person to install it.

Can I track clicks on a WhatsApp link?

A wa.me link does not carry website tags. To see which place sends visits to a web page, tag that web link instead. For chats, ask people how they found you, or use a different first message in each place.
